Horizontal Digital Awarded Silver from AdFed The Show for Best Microsite for Milwaukee Tool MX Fuel landing page. What started as a proof of concept for a creative pitch, many iterations later turned into an engaging launch experience and trade show centerpiece. The team really delivered. This was a fun one to work on!
2019 – 2020: Milwaukee Tool, website
Milwaukee Tool engaged Horizontal to help bring the launch of a new product line to life online. Scroll driven, frame-by-frame animated sequences led users through key value propositions and functionality. In collaboration with the creative and ux teams, we produced a proof of concept that led to the MX Fuel launch and additional implementations across key landing pages on the site.

Responsible for aiding client team in platform selection. Led implementation team and collaborated with client stakeholders, UX, and creative on requirements and acceptance criteria. Worked with client to reduce technical debt and consolidated back office processes establishing Salesforce as their CRM source of truth with bi-directional data sync with Drupal on Acquia as their web delivery platform.

After a year with Horizontal, the powers that be have seen fit to promote me! I am now “Practice Lead, Open and Emerging Technologies.” Kind of a mouthful. Looking forward to building a new line of business and a team to support it.
I got a new jobby job
Here it is folks, after a long run (6 consecutive years, 10 cumulative) with Olson I’ve made the decision to move on. I’m on to a new role with Horizontal Integration, firmly solidifying my place in middle management. Looking forward to the challenge. Don’t worry Internet, I’m still in you.

Responsible for ongoing maintenance duties of legacy Symfony/Sonata codebase. Led technical analysis proving cost benefit of upgrading site infrastructure to Drupal 8. Technical lead and on Drupal 8 replatform, also responsible for front end architecture and Drupal templating.

Led UX, Design, and Technical Execution of 3 iterations of Pureleaf’s Tumblr theme. Responsible for a Google maps based social image aggregator.

Collaborated with numerous internal Account, Project Management, Creative teams as well as client project teams and agency partners. Responsible for execution and delivery of highly interactive, efficiently built, accessible experiences for Target’s desktop and mobile platforms.
